En este art\u00edculo, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Cid Ruiz, nos describe los aspectos m\u00e1s rese\u00f1ables del mantenimiento y reproducci\u00f3n de esta especie. As\u00ed como, los detalles de alimentaci\u00f3n de las larvas y tiempos de desarrollo hasta la fase alev\u00edn. El autor nos refiere multitud de detalles, tales como que: \u201cen aguas \u00e1cidas y muy c\u00e1lidas (ph&nbsp; = 6,6; T&nbsp; = 28&nbsp; &#8211;&nbsp; 30\u00baC),&nbsp; los&nbsp; machos de T. Leeri construyeron siempre sus nidos en presencia directa de la hembra y, en esta conducta, he podido observar que se apartan en cierta medida&nbsp; de los modos que tengo observados en el g\u00e9nero&nbsp; Betta. Dado que, en este \u00faltimo, el macho se ve siempre estimulado&nbsp; a la construcci\u00f3n de nido con la simple visualizaci\u00f3n&nbsp; a trav\u00e9s&nbsp; de un&nbsp; cristal de una hembra, sin tener acceso a un contacto directo. Sin embargo, los machos de T. leeri, han reiniciado la reconstrucci\u00f3n del nido en las diversas ocasiones, si y s\u00f3lo si, la hembra, era sumergida de nuevo en su departamento, a pesar de haber disfrutado de una perfecta visi\u00f3n de la misma en los d\u00edas precedentes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h4 id=\"at-8651\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\">Abstract<\/h4><div id=\"ac-8651\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-background-color has-background\">One of the most attractive species anabantids is undoubtedly the \u00abPearl Gourami\u00bb (currently Trichopodus leerii), regular guest of the community aquarium, which tends to acclimate easily. &nbsp;In this article, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Cid Ruiz, describes the most notable aspects of the maintenance and reproduction of this species. As well as, the feeding details of the larvae and development times up to the juvenile phase. The author tells us a multitude of details, such as: \u201cin acidic and very warm waters (ph = 6.6; T = 28 &#8211; 30\u00baC), the males of T. Leeri always built their nests in the direct presence of the female and in this behavior, I have been able to observe that they deviate to a certain extent from the ways that I have observed in the genus Betta. Since, in the latter, the male is always stimulated to build a nest with the simple visualization through a glass of a female, without having access to direct contact.
